Overview

Septic and Sewer systems are usually not the first thing on your mind, unless they are causing problems. Even if things are still running, putting off inspections or repairs can make things worse down the road. Don’t wait. We offer efficient plumbing solutions that ensure your systems run smoothly, including fixture installation, septic services, and plumbing repairs.

Inspection

We are proud to be certified to conduct Pennsylvania Septage Management Association (PSMA) inspections! We are also certified by the PA Association of Sewage Enforcement Officers for the installation of onsite wastewater systems.

Septic and sewer inspections are essential for maintaining a healthy and efficient waste management system. We use technology and know-how to provide clear and concise assessments of any issues your system might have.

As a general rule, septic systems should be inspected and tanks pumped every three to five years. If your system has a lot of mechanical components, annual inspections may be needed.

Sewer systems also require inspections. If the house is over 20 years old, if there are trees (root systems) near your sewer line, or if you’ve had a history of clogs or slow drains, it might be time to schedule a check-up.

Let us know what kind of system you have and we can schedule your regular inspections. Take the stress out of managing your inspection cadence. We service residential and commercial properties.

Repair

Regular inspections help you avoid costly repairs by catching issues before they get worse. Repair is tailored to your needs with services like:

  • Pumping and sludge removal
  • Component or subsystem replacement
  • Full system replacement
  • Information on how to best care for your system

Installations

Whether a replacement or a first-time installation, we can take care of setting you up with a system that meets the needs of your home or business. We manage all stages of the project, from planning to procurement, removing an existing system, installing the new system, and site cleanup. Not sure if you need a new system? We can inspect your current septic or sewer to see if a repair is more appropriate, or if you’re better served with a new solution.

Sand Mound

A sand mound is a type of onsite wastewater treatment system that is used in areas where traditional septic systems are not suitable. It consists of a drain field above the ground, constructed with layers of sand and gravel, which treat and disperse wastewater from the septic tank through a network of pipes.

You might need a sand mound septic system (or you might already have one) if any of these apply to your property:

  • Shallow soil depth
  • Poor soil structure
  • High groundwater or water tables
  • Close proximity to surface water bodies (such as a pond)
  • Shallow bedrock

A well-maintained sand mound system can last many years. Let’s take care of that inspection and maintenance for you. Need a new one? We can manage the planning and installation so you can rest easy knowing your system is in good hands.
